This out of all of my designs is my most treasured. The idea of this shawl began years ago, sitting on a very cold train to Melmerby Cumbria. This was the week that pushed me so far out my comfort zone socially. I was heading off to a knitting retreat. Wool needles pen and paper ,an idea was forming. I had no idea that the following 3 days to follow would cement and form the warmest kindest and most appreciated friendships for this then 50 year old.
