Thank goodness for knitting

Well!  I love Fridays but today is all 'what ifs' so to keep it all normal I'm going to knit on my Welcome shawl. It's part of a kit. The wool is beautiful superwash merino, it's mainly cream with the  soft gentle splashes of very pale pink, salmon pink and shades of yellow. It's a simple crescent shape shawl that I'm designing. When it's finished I'll be gifting it to my Grand daughter when she's born.

The sun is actually shining here in Ipswich so I'll be taking Dolly my lovely cocker spaniel for a walk around Christchurch Park. It never fails to make me feel so fortunate that we have this Fabulous park slap bang in the middle of town. It has a lovely mansion that is free entry, I often have a meander around it soaking up the quiet and calm of what life was like to have lived there.Dolly with the ' who me on your bed ...no ' expression
