These yarns are part of a range brought to you as a joint Opal/ Viridian venture. Viridian have sponsered 8 rare breed german sheep. Each sheep has been named after family members of the Viridian owner. The wool is supplied from 30'000sheep from the nature reserve "BiosphareAlb" in South Germany where traditional practises of sheep- rearing is still worked by the shepherds.
